Drive 03:28
Sometimes I feel the fear Of uncertainty stinging clear And I cant help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear take the wheel and steer It's driven me before It seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal Lately I'm beginning to find that I should be the one behind the wheel Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there With open arms and open eyes, yeah Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there I'll be there So if I decide to waiver my chance To be one of the hive Will I choose water over wine And hold my own and drive, oh oh It's driven me before It seems to be the way that everyone else get around Lately I'm beginning to find that When I drive myself, my light is found Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there With open arms and open eyes, yeah Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there I'll be there Would you choose water over wine Hold the wheel and drive

Name 04:05
Even though the moment passed me by I still can't turn away Cuz all the dreams you never thought you'd lose Got tossed along the way And letters that you never meant to send Got lost or thrown away And now we're grown up orphans And never knew their names We don't belong to no one That's a shame But you could hide beside me Maybe for a while And I won't tell no one your name And scars are souvenirs you never lose The past is never far Did you lose yourself somewhere out there? Did you get to be a star? And don't it make you sad to know that life Is more than who we are We grew up way too fast And now there's nothing to believe And reruns all become our history A tired song keeps playing on a tired radio And I won't tell no one your name I think about you all the time But I don't need the same It's lonely where you are Come back down And I won't tell 'em your name

Iris 03:57
And I'd give up forever to touch you 'Cause I know that you feel me somehow You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be And I don't want to go home right now And all I can taste is this moment And all I can breathe is your life 'Cause sooner or later it's over I just don't want to miss you tonight And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming Or the moment of truth in your lies When everything feels like the movies Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am

The heart is a bloom Shoots up through the stony ground There's no room No space to rent in this town You're out of luck And the reason that you had to care The traffic is stuck And you're not moving anywhere You thought you'd found a friend To take you out of this place Someone you could lend a hand In return for grace It's a beautiful day Sky falls, you feel like It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away You're on the road But you've got no destination You're in the mud In the maze of her imagination You love this town Even if that doesn't ring true You've been all over And it's been all over you It's a beautiful day Don't let it get away It's a beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Teach me I know I'm not a hopeless case See the world in green and blue See China right in front of you See the canyons broken by cloud See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out See the Bedouin fires at night See the oil fields at first light And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth After the flood all the colors came out It was a beautiful day Don't let it get away Beautiful day Touch me Take me to that other place Reach me I know I'm not a hopeless case What you don't have you don't need it now What you don't know you can feel it somehow What you don't have you don't need it now Don't need it now Was a beautiful day

I have climbed highest mountains I have run through the fields Only to be with you Only to be with you I have run I have crawled I have scaled these city walls These city walls Only to be with you But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for I have kissed honey lips Felt the healing in her fingertips Burning like a fire This burning inside her I have spoke with the tongue of angels I have held the hand of a devil It was warm in the night I was cold as a stone But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for I believe in the Kingdom Come Then all the colors will bleed into one Bleed into one But yes I'm still running You broke the bonds And you loosed the chains Carried the cross Of my shame Oh my shame You know I believe it But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I was wasted in the afternoon Waiting on a train I woke up in pieces and Elisabeth had disappeared again I wish you were inside of me I hope that you're ok I hope you're resting quietly I just wanted to say Goodnight Elisabeth We couldn't all be cowboys So some of us are clowns Some of us are dancers on the midway We roam from town to town I hope that everybody can find a little flame Me, I say my prayers, then I just light myself on fire And I walk out on the wire once again And I say Goodnight Elisabeth I will wait for you in Baton Rouge I'll miss you down in New Orleans I'll wait for you while she slips in something comfortable And I'll miss you when I'm slipping in between If you wrap yourself in daffodils I will wrap myself in pain And if you're the queen of California Baby I am the king of the rain And I say Goodnight Elisabeth

Lucky 09:56
Mean Mr. Mustard says, "He's bored of life in the District Can't afford the French Quarter high" Says, "It gets old real quick." And he pales up next to me Scrawled on the pavement It says "Son, time is all the luck you'll need" And if I stay lucky then my tongue will stay tied And I won't betray the things that I hide There's not enough years underneath this belt For me to admit the way that I felt Mean Mr. Mustard says, Don't be the wave that crashes From a sea of discontent" He says,"He's wrestled with that blanket It leaves you cold and wet away you stretch it" Divine apathy! Disease of my youth! Watch that you don't catch it. And if I stay lucky then my tongue will stay tied And I won't betray the things that I hide There's not enough years underneath this belt For me to admit the way that I felt And I am a wave that crashes from a sea that turns itself Inside out every chance I get to see what it's like in Hell.

Streets are filled with broken glass You get buried by the past Give me just a little taste Lay this mess to waste Take me home My mind is racing take me home My body's achin'so alone I'll make you want to stay with me Befriended by the enemy One more time And every little thing about this tells me Nothing out there is ever gonna help me All these words that I hear spoken just promises broken now Looking outside from my window sill Throw another coin in the wishing well You'll never find what you're looking for Fifteen miles Your dim light shines from so far away Your sad smile Is all I see when I say That every little thing about this tells me Nothing out there is ever gonna help me All these words that I hear spoken just promises broken now From the Hotel Satellite Don't look like you're living right Here's a deal you can't refuse You ain't got as much to lose Can you tell your troubles to Someone who won't laugh at you It's all right And as I watch you walk away Hope a part of you would stay It's all right And every little thing about this tells me Nothing out there is ever gonna help me All these words that I hear spoken just promises broken now

Make up your mind Decide to walk with me Around the lake tonight Around the lake tonight By my side I'm not gonna lie I'll not be a gentleman Behind the boathouse I'll show you my dark secret I'm not gonna lie I want you for mine My blushing bride My lover, be my lover, yeah... Don't be afraid I didn't mean to scare you So help me, Jesus I can promise you You'll stay as beautiful With dark hair And soft skin...forever Forever Give it up to me Do you wanna be My angel? So help me! Be my angel Do you wanna die? I promise you I will treat you well My sweet angel So help me, Jesus

Save Tonight 03:17
Go on and close the curtains Cause all we need is candle light You and me and a bottle of wine Going to hold you tonight Well we know I'm going away And how I wish, I wish it weren't so So take this wine and drink with me Let's delay our misery Save tonight And fight the break of dawn Come tomorrow Tomorrow I'll be gone There's a log on the fire And it burns like me for you Tomorrow comes with one desire To take me away it's true It ain't easy to say goodbye Darling please don't start to cry Cause girl you know I've got to go, oh Lord I wish it wasn't so Save tonight And fight the break of dawn Come tomorrow Tomorrow I'll be gone Tomorrow comes to take me away I wish that I, that I could stay Girl you know I've got to go, oh Lord I wish it wasn't so
